The 2004 Cyan Pago de la Calera comes from a 1.5-hectare namesake vineyard planted back in 1928 and sees 18 months in new French oak. It has a well-defined bouquet that handles the 15.5% oak well, offering scents of raspberry preserve, crushed strawberry, marmalade and camphor. The palate is full-bodied with a sweet core of plump raspberry and strawberry fruit laced with vanilla, marmalade and orange zest. The finish is grippy and missing a little refinement, although it is certainly packed full
