Minty and herbal nose with a bit of honey, tobacco, lemon peel, caramel and tapioca pudding. This bourbon is a true middleweight-- a mild opening of clotted cream and cantaloupe is underpinned by some subtle mastic and clove, before settling into a big note of Madagascar vanilla that carries well into the finish. Ends on a sweet note, the vanilla becoming creamier and more pronounced, with a bit of oak shavings and cinnamon.
