Wine Advocate 89 points - The 2014 Rosso di Montalcino is much more than your standard Rosso. Ironically, this wine has benefit from the difficult vintage because fruit that was earmarked for Brunello was put here instead. The wine opens to a dark and richly saturated color and good aromatic intensity. The bouquet shows elements of black cherry, spice and tobacco. The wine is smooth and silky in texture. If you are looking for value from Montalcino, this wine delivers it in spades. 89+ Points (Mar 2016)
James Suckling 93 Points - "A solid red with dried cherry, strawberry and lemon aromas and flavors. Full and rich. This is the best Rosso di Montalcino out there. Wonderful length and finesse."
