The 2005 Bramare Malbec was aged for 18 months in French and American oak, 46% new. It is a glass-coating opaque purple with a super-expressive nose of pain grille, spice box, violets, black cherry, and black raspberry. Full-bodied, supple-textured, and layered with flavor, it nicely conceals enough tannin to carry this showy Malbec for at least a decade. |
