| The sensational 2004 Footprint Shiraz is a 100% Shiraz from the estate’s highest elevation vineyards. Cropped at a mere two tons of fruit per acre, and aged 18 months in predominantly new French oak, it displays an opaque black color to the rim as well as a gorgeous bouquet of blackberries, blueberries, graphite, and sweet vanillin. Young and backward yet remarkably pure, rich, full-bodied, and well-balanced, give it another 1-2 years of bottle age, and drink it over the following 10-15 years. |
